Celebrating Success: Winning Two Prizes at the International reFocus Competition

I am thrilled and deeply honored to share the joyous news of triumph at this year’s international reFocus competition held in New York. Amongst a pool of exceptional talent, I am humbled to have been awarded not one, but two prestigious prizes in the black and white category for conceptual photography.

Firstly, receiving the Silver Award from a panel of esteemed judges is a testament to the dedication, passion, and creativity poured into the art. The acknowledgment from such luminaries as the director of photography of Wired magazine, the curator of the Saatchi Art gallery, and the director of the Leica Gallery is beyond humbling. Their recognition is a source of immense pride and motivation to continue pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling.

Secondly, the People’s Vote holds a special place in my heart as it represents the appreciation and support of both the public and fellow photographers. This recognition, directly from the community that shares a passion for artistry and innovation, is incredibly meaningful.
